The location was selected.

The stands were packed with spectators.

Each team exuded the competitive nature of it’s players.

The tournament began and the games were played with unbridled ferocity.

There’s no crying in vOdgeball.

When the games were all said and done one team could claim the title vOdgeball 2011 Champion…

Congratulations to team EMC for winning the vOdgeball 2011 tournament. It appears the combination of team skill and Chad’s furry pink leg warmers proved to be too much for any other team to overcome.

I’d like to thank all who participated and attended vOdgeball 2011. With your support and corporate sponsorship the event raised $12,892 to support the Wounded Warrior Project. The ability to help others while engaging in competition with friends and colleges makes participating in vOdgeball a decidedly rewarding experience.

I’m not sure what’s in store for VMworld 2012, but I’m confident the tournament will return in an expanded format.
