Kudos to the 2013 VMware vExperts

Since 2009 VMware has recognized individuals for their virtualization and cloud computing advocacy with the annual vExpert award. I’d like to congratulate those who have been awarded this status for 2013. Your efforts help make cloud computing a reality for many.

This year set a new high water mark for the virtualization teams at NetApp as we have 8 vExperts! These guys represent the ‘who’s who’ inside the cloud-focused engineering teams at NetApp and without their efforts you wouldn’t have some of the great capabilities and solutions we provide.

Kudos to:

Chris Gebhardt (aka Dr. desktop)
Christopher J. Wells
David Klem
Gabe Lowe
Jack McLeod
Nick Howell
Rob Waite
and yours truly

All of the NetApp vExperts (and non-vExperts) are planing on attending VMworld & NetApp Insight (both US and EMEA events). If you are attending,  please stop by to pick their brains an share a tale or two.

Beyond conferences you can catch Gabe & Nick on the NetApp Communities Podcast. Hmmm. I wonder when those two are going to invite me to chat?

There are many more inside of NetApp who help advance our cloud solutions beyond what we do with VMware. To those, I’d like to say ‘thank you’ for all you do.
