Survey says… Pure Storage has a New Game Show for VMworld 2015

That’s right Pure is back at VMworld 2015 with a new an improved vExpert Storage Game Show. Get ready to have some fun!

Last year we went out on a limb in an attempt to introduce something new to the technical breakout sessions at VMworld. One that would bring the virtualization community together in a glorious mayhem-filled game show. A that’s exactly what we did – mixing fun with facts while overcoming a few presentation hurdles along the way!

The Game Format

This year’s game show will pit experts in a ‘feud’ attempting to answer the most common answers to survey questions. But here’s the catch – you supply the answers (see ‘we need your help’ below). Should a contestant correctly answer a question they will be asked to elaborate on their answer. Here’s the twist… points will be awarded for technical depth or creative wordplay.

The new and improved vExpert Storage Game Show (STO6327-SPO) is back for VMworld 2015, featuring Pure Storage CMO Jonathan Martin as host and leading industry experts. We’re packing a bold irreverent approach with upgraded and well known ‘feud’ game format!

The Expert Contestants

Who are our contestants, you ask? Joining me are gurus from the VMware community, the storage community, and a number of leading technology companies…

  • Howard Marks, Founder and Chief Scientist, DeepStorage
  • Dr. J Metz, Sr. Product Manager at Cisco in the Data Center Group
  • Rawlinson Rivera, Principal Architect (Storage) in VMware’s office of the CTO
  • Eric Wright, Principal Solutions Engineer and Evangelist at VMTurbo
  • Chris Wahl, Tech Evangelist at Rubrik and @Datanauts_Show host

We Need Your Help

We’ve opened the vExpert Storage Game Show Survey for you to reply and we’ll quiz our expert contestants on your responses. Please help us stump the experts and extract some laughs by taking the survey – then attend the session to see what the experts are saying about the present and future of storage in VMware environments.

Chris Wahl, is ready, are you?
